Enquire about disability support in Victoria
Ava Aid welcomes disability support enquiries from Melbourne and across Victoria. Tell us your suburb or town and the support you are looking for. We will discuss availability, worker suitability and any travel arrangements before support is agreed.
What to tell us
Start with your suburb, the broad assistance you need and any preferred days or times. Let us know how you would like to be contacted and whether you are enquiring for yourself or referring with permission. You do not need to send a full address, NDIS number, plan or medical records to start the conversation.
Explore the support you need
Our service pages explain personal care, community participation, travel and transport, household tasks, life skills and life transitions. They describe what to discuss, rather than confirming current capacity in every suburb. The full service overview also includes our other listed service groups.
Confirm availability and travel
Availability depends on the requested tasks, suitable workers, timing and travel. Discuss any accessibility requirements and the practical arrangements that would apply. Ask which travel charges may be involved before agreeing support; an enquiry does not check a live roster or reserve a worker.
If an arrangement cannot be confirmed
Do not rely on an enquiry as a booking. Ask whether the request can be met and what remains to be confirmed before changing existing support arrangements. You can also contact your chosen advocate, support coordinator or the NDIS for help exploring other options.
Discuss your support
Start with your name, suburb or town in Victoria, the support you want to discuss and how you would like us to contact you. A family member, advocate or authorised referrer can help with your permission. Please do not send an NDIS number, plan or medical records with an initial enquiry.
