Support through life changes
A change in routine can bring new practical questions. Talk with Ava Aid about everyday support while you prepare for a different life stage, schedule or living arrangement in Melbourne or elsewhere in Victoria, subject to availability.

Start with the change you are making
You may be getting used to a new daily routine, preparing to attend work or study, or adjusting familiar tasks after a move. Tell us what is changing and which parts you would like help to plan or practise.
Everyday examples
Support might include practising a new morning routine, preparing for an appointment or activity, or organising everyday tasks in a different home. We work through the practical steps with you, at a pace that feels manageable.
Keep your choices central
Explain your priorities, communication preferences and who you want involved. If a family member, advocate or referrer helps with the enquiry, your permission and wishes remain central. Decide what information is useful to share at the first conversation.
Clarify the service you need
This service is about agreed practical assistance. It does not offer support coordination, housing placement, financial advice or a guarantee of work or study. If a request needs a different professional or service, that distinction needs to be clear before starting.
Support in Melbourne and across Victoria
Tell us your suburb, preferred days and the support you would like. We will discuss availability, worker suitability and any travel arrangements with you before confirming your support.
Before you decide
Ask about the tasks, schedule, rates, travel, changes and cancellation terms that would apply to your arrangement. If you plan to use NDIS funding, clarify how the proposed support fits your plan and funding arrangements before committing.
Questions about life changes
Can you find me a home or a job? This page does not offer accommodation or recruitment. We can discuss practical daily support related to a change, subject to service fit and availability.
Can someone help me explain what is changing? Yes. A person you choose can help you enquire with your permission. Start with your broad support needs and preferred contact details, without sending sensitive records.
Discuss your support
Start with your name, suburb or town in Victoria, the support you want to discuss and how you would like us to contact you. A family member, advocate or authorised referrer can help with your permission. Please do not send an NDIS number, plan or medical records with an initial enquiry.
