About Ava Aid
Ava Aid is a Melbourne-based disability support business welcoming enquiries from across Victoria. We believe people should be listened to, respected and supported to make their own choices.
Why we’re here
Good support pays attention to the small things: how you like your day to begin, who you want to spend time with and what makes you feel comfortable.
It also makes space for the bigger things — trying something new, building skills or taking a step towards a personal goal. We want to understand both.
Experience has taught us that good support is often about knowing when to step in, when to give someone space and when to slow down and listen. It means recognising when a familiar routine feels difficult, offering reassurance without taking over and staying calm when the day doesn’t go to plan. We bring that understanding to everyday support, taking the time to learn what helps each person feel comfortable, understood and in control.
Your preferences, goals and communication needs guide the conversation. You can involve the people you trust.
Your culture, privacy, relationships and interests matter. Support should fit the person you are.
We’ll explain proposed arrangements, welcome questions and make space to discuss what’s working or what needs to change.
With your permission, we can involve family, carers, support coordinators and other people who help you plan your support. Your choices remain central.
